Riano’s first European single release landed him a radio hit, and a club tour with COSMUS Records in Berlin, Germany. |

The follow-up release in late 1993 received high acclaim from Germany’s Federal Association of DJs. As a result, Riano’s album won him the “Newcomer of the Year” award. |

With the remake of John Farnham’s international hit, “You’re the Voice” Riano successfully made the leap to a major recording label with 69-Records and BMG-Europe. |

Riano’s final European release came in spring of 1999 with “I Will Follow You”. By Summer of that same year, Riano was already a national radio and television celebrity with an enormous following. His final concert in Germany produced an audience of over 55,000 screaming fans! |
